Leon Cooper

Cooper in 2007 Leon N Cooper (né Kupchik; February 28, 1930 – October 23, 2024) was an American physicist and Nobel Prize laureate (1972) who, with John Bardeen and John Robert Schrieffer, developed the BCS theory of superconductivity. His name is also associated with the Cooper pair and the BCM theory of synaptic plasticity. Provided by Wikipedia
