Description
Summary:This film is an intimate portrait of the daily life of a man and his son. Apuda is nearing middle age but his mind is like that of a child. He lives with his father, who has great love for his son born with intellectual disabilities. Summer arrives and the apples begin to ripen in the orchard. One day after Apuda returns home from watching over the orchard as he always has, he finds his father can no longer rise from bed. Apuda takes care of his father day in and day out, tending to him in his own special way, helping him change clothes, bringing him water, lighting his cigarettes, helping him roll over in bed, and sharing with him the comings and goings in the village. "*This is an exquisite story of the everyday life of a father and son. It is full of sincerity and sadness.*" – ***Ai Weiwei***
