Louisiana, Supreme Court, New Orleans : Hall v Emerson's Curator and Heirs, March 1837.

Plaintiff claimed [dollars] 1,788 from the estate of William Emerson. The claim was for a portion of the proceeds acrued in the seizure and condemnation of a slave ship, which William Emerson, B. Chew and E. Lorraine carried out together.
